Ciao, sono una femmina americana di 18 anni che va vivere a Roma l'estate prossima per un anno. Dovrei molto essere preoccupato per dei pericoli?

ok, if you speak English I'll ask the question in English also because I'm afraid my Italian might not make much sense :).
I'm an 18 year old American female going to live in Rome for a year by myself. Is there many dangers for me to be worried about?

Hey, you're coming to Italy not to the jungle! We're basically good people, maybe we're a lil bit noisy, but we don't bite! Ok, just kidding. Late at night try not to hang about all alone, because in Italy there are bad people as everywhere else. What else....lock your door at night, be careful to your pursue when you're walking in the crowd, I think you should be careful in Rome as you'd be in every other big city in another part of the world.

Non aver paura di Roma--è una bellissima e tranquilla città. Sono andata a Roma un mese fa, e non c'è niente temere.

hi i'm 21 yers old and i leav in rome for one years. in rome there isn't too much danger but you are looking for the people, when you across the street were there are the light and for first time pay attention for the underground!! and that's it i think because i don't remenber nothing else like danger . p.s. looking for the guys and enjoy your self in rome ther era too much things too see in rome. i'm sorry for my english is not good!! bye

ci sono posti in cui 'è molto popolato e perciò è più pericoloso ed altri dove è meno popolato perciò e meno pericolaso!

no worries at all!

rome is very safe. you will notice police all around. just mind your purse on public transport and the prices in some places, mainly where foreign tourist go.
